Storming Area 51 is either a joke or a very dangerous attempt to discover government secrets.
Area 51 is a secret military base located in Nevada. The base is responsible for some of the military’s most classified secrets.
The base is roughly three-hours hours north of Las Vegas and is known to be a testing ground for new military vehicles, including aircraft. Which could explain some of the strange aircraft spotted flying around the base.
Recently, a group of 1.4 million Americans signed up online to take part in storming Area 51. The Air Force has control over the base and it has warned that illegally entering the base is “dangerous.”
Some people are regarding this as a joke, it is highly unlikely that 1.4 million Americans would have enough coordination and motivation to pull off a movement that big. However, with that amount of people taking interest in the movement, it is likely that at least some will show up.
The Facebook page that created the event states, “we will all meet up at the Area 51 Alien Center tourist attraction and coordinate our entry. If we Naruto run, we can move faster than their bullets. Let’s see them aliens.”
The group has even set up a website that sells merchandise. It is possible that the storming Area 51 event is being used to make money.
If anyone does show up to storm Area 51, the government will know exactly where you are long before you get there. They have miles of public land rigged with sensors. They also have government security contractors that patrol the base.
The security guards are dubbed the “camo-dudes.” They are authorized to use lethal force.
If this is a joke, it could turn deadly for anybody that isn’t in on it. The only thing it does is distract the public from current affairs.
Area 51 has long been rumored to hold evidence of alien life. People like Bob Lazar have even claimed to reverse engineer UFOs at the base. Lazar himself is warning people not to storm Area 51.
Personally, I don’t think it is a good idea for civilians to break into a military base to expose their own country’s national defense secrets.
Keep yourself and this country safer by not storming Area 51 and don’t joke about it seriously enough to have 1.4 million people sign up. It would be a disaster if lethal force was used against one of the participants.
